Bioinformatics, at its core, is the fusion of biology, computer science, and mathematics to interpret and analyze complex biological data. Over the past few decades, the explosive growth of genomic and proteomic data has transformed how researchers understand life at a molecular level. Today, bioinformatics is pivotal in deciphering the secrets hidden in DNA sequences, protein structures, and metabolic pathways, providing insights that were once unimaginable.
